Immigration Exams
The U.S.C.I.S requires that immigrants seeking a change in their immigration status have a medical exam performed by a Civil Surgeon.
A Civil Surgeon is a physician that has been certified by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services department.
The applicant receiving the exam will be required to provide proof of immunizations during the appointment. The Civil Surgeon will review and discuss with you any additional vaccines you may need to complete your packet. If additional vaccines are required our staff will inform you of the additional cost if you choose to receive them at our office.
The examination will consist of other screenings that only can be done at the time of your exam.
Upon the completion of the exam, the Civil Surgeon will review and sign the I-693 Form before providing you with the required sealed packet.
